Research Interests

1. Under conditions of dietary fatty acid manipulation in the rat:

• Development of lipidomic strategies to study changes in cardiomyocyte and coronary microvascualar endothelial cell eicosanoid synthesis and oxidation
• Measurement of associated functional changes in vivo using echocardiography

2. Identification of changes to the adipose and cardiac proteome with dietary obesity and beta-adrenergic antagonism

3. Investigation of lipid-mediated cardiac and endothelial dysfunction in veterinary patients
