
In fall 2002, the Colorado State University Equine Reproduction Lab (ERL), opened a new stallion barn to increase and extend their research. The facility comprises 1,200 square feet for semen collection, a barn to house 10 stallions for the breeding season and expanded laboratory space for the freezing, storage and export of semen. With these and other amenities, the stallion barn meets USDA and EU requirements for shipped semen and the ERL is capable of shipping semen anywhere in the world. The stallion barn houses client stallions from around the nation as well as several CSU-owned stallions. These fine animals can be viewed below.
