
The Equine Reproduction Laboratory, Colorado State University, is
accepting applications for the Equine Breeding Farm Internship program. The
goal of the program is to provide advanced training in equine breeding
farm procedures and management. The program is aimed preferentially
for people with a sincere desire to pursue a career in the equine
breeding industry.
Interns will participate in a one (1) year program. One person will start on January 1 and finish on December 31 of that same year. The second person will start on July 1 and finish on June 30 of the following year. Applicants should have recently completed a BS degree in Equine Sciences, Animal Sciences or related discipline. This is a non-degree program. A certificate of achievement will be provided upon successful completion of the program. Job placement assistance will be available upon request.
Salary and housing on-site at the Equine Reproduction Laboratory on the
Foothills Campus of Colorado State University will be provided.
