Biography
Dr. Denniston participated on the horse judging team and served as an assistant coach to the team while pursuing his M.S. degree at CSU. Additionally, Dr. Denniston was active during the short course program and enjoyed serving as a teaching assistant for many Equine courses. During his stay at NMSU, Dr. Denniston again taught many equine classes and conducted research in a variety of species including horses, cattle, and sheep.
Dr. Denniston joined Colorado State University as a faculty member in 2001. He coaches the horse judging team, is one of the instructors for the Introduction to Equine Sciences course and guest lectures in other courses. Meanwhile, Dr. Denniston serves as the youth horse extension specialist in the state of Colorado and as such coordinates the Colorado 4-H horse program.
