The Department of Biomedical Sciences offers an undergraduate Biomedical Sciences major and both M.S. and Ph.D. graduate degree programs, as well as playing an active role in the Professional Veterinary Medicine educational program.
Departmental faculty members contribute to educational efforts in a variety of ways. Faculty, staff and post-doctoral associates participate in teaching courses offered by the Department of Biomedical Sciences, as well as 11 other departments and programs in 5 different colleges. Instruction in these courses is at the undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate/professional levels. A number of faculty members have developed unique and innovative teaching resources and approaches which are being utilized on a national and international scale.
Seminars offered through the Department of Biomedical Sciences and interdisciplinary programs in which faculty participate are valuable educational resources for students at all levels.
