Objectives:
Course Mechanics:
This course is designed to provide an opportunity for graduate students to utilize a case-based approach to understanding the concepts of domestic animal anatomy. In addition, students will experience problem-based learning. This course is complementary to lecture and laboratory material in BMS 531 (Domestic Animal Anatomy). Concurrent enrollment in BMS 531 and prior enrollment in BMS 231 are required (unless approved by instructor).
This course consists of one hour of problem-based case discussions per week. Though topics will roughly parallel those in BMS 531 (schedule attached), the course will be directed by student-lead case reports; thus, the syllabus has not yet been established. Attendance is required. Students will present a case and turn in a writen report.
