BMS 330 -- Microscopic Anatomy

Course Description: Microscopic anatomy of mammalian tissue.

Course Objectives: Students will be able to: (1) understand the structure and functions of the basic tissues of the body; (2) identify important cell types and structures in microscopic images of the major organs; (3) understand how the tissues and specialized cells contribute to the functions of the organs.

Prerequisites: BMS 300 or BMS 360

Format: 4 credits - 3 hours of lecture and 3 hours of laboratory per week
