Departmental Mission

The mission of the Department of Biomedical Sciences is to foster an environment conducive to the achievement of excellence in teaching and advising, research and scholarly activity, and service and outreach by its faculty, staff and students. This will be accomplished by discovery, dissemination and application of knowledge in the biomedical sciences, and by educating and training undergraduate, graduate, professional veterinary medical, and post-graduate students.
