ISVEE IX
The 9th ISVEE Symposium was held in Breckenridge, Colorado, USA from August 6 - August 11, 2000. This symposium was hosted by Colorado State University's Center of Veterinary Epidemiology and Animal Disease Surveillance Systems (CVEADSS). CVEADSS was incorporated into the Animal Population Health Institute(APHI) in 2002.
ISVEE IX was attended by 589 participants; these participants represented 58 different countries from around the world. More than 466 papers and 60 posters were presented in addition to five plenary sessions as listed below. The plenary papers are published in Preventive Veterinary Medicine, Volume 48, Issue 4. The editor of this special issue is MD Salman, Professor of Veterinary Epidemiology at Colorado State University.
