The registration fee, continental breakfasts & lunches during the course, and five nights of lodging in the designated block of rooms at the course hotel in Fort Collins are provided and are not a cost to the registered participant.

Participants and their companions are invited to be our guests for an opening reception and Thursday evening dinner. Additional details will be provided on the web site as the course dates draw near.

Essential Actions

Reserve your hotel room within the designated block of rooms at the course hotel.

Make travel plans.   Please arrange to be in Fort Collins, CO on Sunday, July 19, 2009. If you are using air transportation, the recommended airport is Denver International Airport (DIA). The course ends at 4:30 PM on Friday, July 24. We suggest you allow 1.5 hours of travel time to reach the the airport from Fort Collins.

Airport Shuttle Information

The SuperShuttle (formerly Shamrock Airport Express) has service between DIA and Fort Collins between 4:45 AM and 11:50 PM, Sunday through Friday.  Saturday service hours vary slightly. 

The Courtyard Marriott (1200 Oakridge) is a reservation only stop.  If you wish to be picked up at this location you must make a reservation. The shuttle does not make a scheduled stop here. For drop-off at this location, simply inform your shuttle driver as you board.   At DIA, stop by the Shamrock Service Booth to arrange your ride, then depart from Door 504 Island 5.

Reservations are strongly encouraged.  The cost is $32 one way.

Course Location

The training course will be held at the Centers for Epidemiology & Animal Health (CEAH), USDA, APHIS, VS at 2150 Centre Avenue, Building B (map below). Signs inside the facility will direct you to the meeting room, Room 1E01, Kit Carson Conference Room.

You must have a current, state or federal government-issued picture ID to enter the building.

Registration begins at 7:30 AM on Monday, July 20, 2009.
The course will begin promptly at 8:30 AM.
