CSU Bovine Palpation Team Takes Second in National CompetitionThe Colorado State University Bovine Palpation Team competed at the Student American Veterinary Medical Association convention in March at Auburn University and took second place overall in the bovine palpation competition.
The team took first place in the written competition and second in the “hands-on” palpation portion of the event, for an overall ranking of second place. The team is coached by Dr. Bob Mortimer and team members include Aaron Langley, PVM Class of 2009; Annie Schultz, 2009; Brandon Fraser, 2009; Shaun Bouzis, team captain, 2009; and Emily Reppert, 2010.
The Symposium was held in Alabama, and jointly sponsored by SCAVMA members from the colleges of veterinary medicine at Auburn University and Tuskegee University.
